Milbridge Elementary had a fun visit from Island Readers and Writers, and Emmy award winning investigative reporter/journalist/author Anna Crowley Redding. The school read the book "Chowder Rules" written by Anna. Kindergarten created a wonderful display for the visit, and grades 3 to 6 created their own versions of New England and Manhattan Chowder. Judges voted on a winner, same as events in 1939 that the book was based on...bringing the book and experience more to life!
