The 2023 Narraguagus Veterans Day Ceremony was held on November 9. The newly revived band played two musical numbers, Gabriel Hanscom read a patriotic poem, our national anthem was sung by Holly Tabbutt, and local scout Daniel Caler led those assembled in the Pledge of Allegiance.
The central part of the ceremony was the honoring of local veterans and this year three veterans were honored for their service:
Mr. David Perham, US Coast Guard. He was interviewed by Chloe Look.
Mr. Jack Peterson, US Coast Guard. He was interviewed by Autumn Peterson, his Great Niece.
Mr. Richard Poirier, US Army. He was interviewed by Lucy Berry.
