The Warm & Cozy Drive was a HUGE success!! In total, our district was able to collect a total of 191 items! The breakdown of that will absolutely AMAZE you!!
Those 191 items turned into:
*158 pairs of socks that went to the organization that Seth volunteered his time at in New Hampshire. The socks were delivered this weekend, and they were incredibly appreciative of the kind gifts that were shared.
*There were a total of 1,772 hot drinks (coffee, tea, and cocoa) that went to the Maine Seacoast Mission! That does not include the 10 pounds of coffee, the filters, and snacks! They were able to fill their shelves and save some for the future! They were also incredibly grateful for the generosity.
We received donations from as far away as Florida, meaning that this drive was shared from Florida to Aroostook County, Maine! We also had several donations made to other community organizations across Maine in honor of our drive. Who says that small schools can't do big things?!
Of course, this would not have been possible without all of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of my JMG students, Narraguagus Jr/Sr High School, DW Merritt, Harrington and Milbridge Elementary Schools. To all of the students, staff, family, friends and community members - thank you for your support and kindness. Thank you for making the Inaugural Seth Dudley Warm & Cozy Drive such a success! We could not have done it without you!
With. so much gratitude,
Lis Patryn and the JMG Classes of Narraguagus"
